Exploring the Fungal Kingdom

Fourth grade just finished a unit on the fungal kingdom in preparation for participating in the Mold Symposium hosted by Green Street Friends last Friday. Students learned about mold and the fungal world and designed and carried out and experiment seeing how one factor impacted mold growth. They analyzed and presented their results to other fourth graders at the symposium Friday and got a taste of what the scientific process is all about.
