Recent Physical Education classes have included activities that emphasize strategy, cooperation, and teamwork. For example, seconder graders built “Hula Huts,” while fourth and fifth graders played the game “Cross the River.” Although these exercises differ, both fostered students communicating effectively, working together, and being supportive teammates working toward a common goal. These skills extend well beyond Physical Education, as students navigate challenges and learn the value of being a positive and dependable teammate.
