Saplings Specialty Camps - Newly Added for the 2026 Summer Season

Specialty Camps (Ages 8–10)

Our Specialty Camps offer curious and creative campers the chance to dive deeply into a subject they love through focused, one-week experiences. Designed for children ages 8–10, these camps encourage exploration, skill-building, and joyful learning in a supportive environment.

Each Specialty Camp is led by experts in the field and offered in conjunction with Seedlings, ensuring high-quality instruction and meaningful hands-on experiences.

MUSIC FROM AROUND THE WORLD (Week 1: June 22-26)

Travel the world—one song at a time!

Pack your musical passport and get ready for a global adventure! In our World Music Summer Camp, campers will explore the sounds, rhythms, and traditions of music from around the world. Each day, we’ll “visit” a different country, discovering how people use music to celebrate, tell stories, and come together.

Through singing games, movement, listening activities, and hands-on instruments, children will experience music in a joyful, interactive way. Campers might chant rhythms from West Africa, sing call-and-response songs from the Caribbean, explore folk music traditions from Europe, or move to the beats of Latin America and beyond.

This camp encourages creativity, cultural curiosity, and collaboration—while keeping the focus on fun. No musical experience needed, just a love of exploring and making noise together!

$450/week

CODING AND ROBOTICS (Offered Week 3: July 6-10 and Week 4: July 13-17)
